ah, thank you god....
well......today at around 2:45pm the van finally went down the poop shoot. so here's the story...
I had to go home and get my swimming stuff. now, it was at home because i wanted to take the van so that i could have it at swimming and i wasn't going to take my swim bag all the way to school, only to take it home again. well anyway, we were turning around the corner at the junction of college and maiden when the van made this horrible grinding noise. it sounded like the brian reagan impression. then it sounded like something fell off (and it sounded like it was smashing into a window)then the car died.......right in the middle of the road.
now that is a busy intersection....there are trucks coming out from everywhere...it's like they're popping out of bushes or something... and of course we're in the middle of one lane so cars had to go around all that crap. and as i'm standing there with all my school sh*t i see people that i know from school driving by.....yea, i felt like and idiot. oh well...
anyway, there was a police cruiser just up the road so he came over with all his lights flashing and stuff, blocking up more of the road. *sigh* but, he called in for a tow truck and it came almost right away.
at this point, i see kim nugent coming towards us. ah, that was good. so she took us to firestone where she dropped my mom and sister off. now remember, i still had swim practice to go to. so kim offered to take me there. but i didn't have any of my stuff. oh darn what a shame. but, they dropped me off at teh middle school, Kim's mom had to run some errands. so i showed up late to swimming. OH DARN. and again, i didn't have any of my stuff with me so i had to use one of the team bathing suits that had not been taken (no, they havn't used before, it's brand new, it's left over from the suits that we got this year) haha, so now i have an extra suit. those suckers are $70 each.......oh well, i don't have to pay for it.
of course after swimming, i had to get a ride home from someone because we didn't have a car. ah, Rommell, you are too sweet to me. i love you! so yes, Rommell took me home and that was basically the end of my night......it got rather boring and uneventful after that.....
well, that was my story......what a great way to start the break. haha oh well..... leave your thoughts and comments and what not........
