I think I made a mistake. I have been working on selling my dad's house and have run into problems with the title. When I went to my siblings to see if they could help cover the legal fees to get it fixed I got some grief from them. So I sent an email explaining that I would feel better if I knew they were supporting me, since I am doing all the work of dealing with this so they don't have to. I have had no response to that email in 4 days. I think they're unhappy with me. Which makes me want to just get the crap done and write them off. Easy for me to say because so much of family has written each other off. It's also petty and dishonest, I don't want to lose my siblings but their disregard has me really pissed off.
So, whatever. Just get the lawyer stuff done, pay for it myself, try to recoup my money in the sale, ignore siblings until they have to sign something, pray they won't cause any problems...then keep my distance and protect my own sanity. That seems reasonable, doesn't it?
