So.  Vidyer games.  You love 'em.  We love 'em.

This lovely example of a malfunctioning Nexus Nintendo Entertainment System has a very INTERESTING LOL attached:  Namely, it draws people in, and they ARE the heroes of the games.  So here's the deal:  You pick a game, and the following thread will be a bit of a DM'ed session through the game of your choice, or at least as far as the early hours.  The big catch, mind, is that the game has to be an NES game.  (Dude, it's an NES.  It doesn't have backwards or forwards compatibility.  It has a hard enough time just turning on without scrambling these days.)

Have problems picking a game?  Try this list on for size:

Still having problems picking one?  (It is a HUGE list.)  Well, I can help with that.  Pick a genre -- RPG, action, shooter, etc., and I'll randomly pick one for you.  Alternatively, you can just ask for a GOOD game (y helo thar River City Ransom) or a bad game (Hydlide ftw!), and I'll pick one out -- though admittedly this IS entirely subjective, there are some that are just... bad.

A few other things:

1.  If more than one person names the same game, they'll be drawn into the same one.  Think of it as an opportunity to interact with characters you might not normally.
2.  All games will run until the first major goal.  If you want to run further than that, we can arrange something off comm.
3.  Be careful futzing about too much with the in-game elements.  The NES code can be kind of unstable as is...

Have fun!  Now let us journey to the cave of monsters!
