Soooo, yeah.
Poor Jalal got caught in the Tiemplot, turning him into an alternate universe version of himself.
...the problem being, for everyone else, that Jalal al-Kamil is a 5000-year-old mutant who on occasion has gone by the name Sabah En-Nur -- a.k.a Apokalupsis, or in the modern spelling, Apocalypse. And who has, in the canon he's based on, a rather notorious alternate universe bearing his name.
He has no intentions to invade the Nexus (yet), but he is very interested in your futuretech and surplus weaponry, fairly traded or stolen. Expect to be missing a few dozen PINpoints by nightfall. X-folks are free to go >:O!! and even attack him, but he's going to be attempting to avoid any too violent altercations, just as a matter of diplomacy and not-being-exploded-by-the-whole-Nexus.
