Okay kids, here's what we know for sure:
1) The votes are in and tiemplot will begin on SUNDAY APRIL 20TH. I am not putting a GMT/EST/WTF time on it, because such nonsense is too complicated for my brain. IF YOU LOOK AT THE CLOCK AND IT SAYS SUNDAY...GO!
1b) The same applies to the end of the plot, SATURDAY APRIL 26TH. IF YOU LOOK AT THE CLOCK AND IT SAYS SUNDAY AGAIN...STOP!
I know that this is not an ideal time for everyone, but such a time does not exist. More than 50% of those who voted said they could do next week, and that's better odds than I'd hoped for.
2) Crazy effects! You are FREE to fiat that chunks of the nexus have morphed into various timeperiods. You are FREE to fiat that your pup is experiencing crazy time effects, as many as you want, as often as you want. Suggested effects include: Aging/youthening, switching personal timeperiods, and memory loss/restoration. Other effects that come to mind JUST NOW include: visits from ghosts of past/future friends and family members, getting frozen in time, Groundhog Day-esque replaying of the same day over and over, and so on. GO NUTS.
2b or not whatevr I do what I want) You MAY NOT contradict anyone else, and you MAY NOT tell anyone else what is happening to a pup that is not yours. If you want to kick over a sandcastle, build your own. Godmoding is for stupidface poopyheads.
Friends do not let friends become stupidface poopyheads.
3) PLOT! So you guys have until Sunday to propose and recruit amongst yourselves if you would like plot. I know that beyond the generall LOLing, people have expressed interest in: devolved maneating monster invasion (it's just not a Nexus Event without some hack 'n slash), pirates and stuff, and Whovian timey wimey running around.
3b) FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A PLOT THING, post to DMOOC with your idea! It would probably be a good idea to propose thing that people can do in your plot (adventures in steampunk land to recover the Key of Time, hit monster with large stick for great justice) and what they might get out of helping (swag! crazy technology! the heads of their enemies!).
