Darkdevil's on a roaring rampage of revenge! Okay, really, a roaring rampage of vengeance -- forgive me, "roaring rampage of revenge" just sounds better.
This means he's hunting in the Nexus, Ghost Rider style. What does this mean for YOU? (Yes, you.) It means you get to give your pup some good old-fashioned mental/spiritual torture, if you want! Which of course you do, you sadists. :P
Darkdevil will be attacking the "guilty" of the Nexus with Hellfire, a cold flame that burns the soul. He's new at this, though, so he won't be leaving your pup soulless -- unless you want him to. He might, however, leave them crazy, guilt-ridden, emotionless, catatonic -- whatever you want.
"Guilty" in this case means murderers, thieves, rapists, etc. If all your character did was some small crime, Darkdevil's not interested. However! The demon possessing Reilly Tyne doesn't make exceptions for pups who crimes committed in self-defense, so they'll still be attacked, but Darkdevil will do his best to spare them. Likewise, if it's in your pup's nature -- vampires, zombies, animals, etc -- Darkdevil will probably leave them alone. (Unless they annoy him, in which case he might still try to melt 'em with regular fire.)
And, of course, you don't have to play along if you don't want to. And if you have any demon-hunting pups, they're free to try and stop him -- holy water works! So do most weapons, although they'll make him bleed fire. So do exorcisms, although they'll get complicated and messy with this kid.
