I got another bonus!
Normally, I'd get a bonus once a year.
And logically, it'd be right around the time I was hired.
My last review was on June 26, and they gave me a pretty nice chunk-of-change.
The company wants to arrange it so that everyone gets reviewed at the same time,
so they picked September 2nd (my boss is running a little behind). I came into
his office today for a summary of my performance, and I'm still doing pretty awesome.
As a result, I get another bonus of $888.61!!!
It may not sound like much, but it's like them saying, "Thanks for staying with the
company another 2 1/2 months. Here, have some money!" Oh, and a tiny raise.
Tiny because they just gave me a raise two months ago.
I'd say it's been a good month.
1) I got my $500 gift card(s) to Best Buy
2) I got another dinner for two at a hoity-toity place; bringing the total to 4
3) I got an extra bonus of $888.61.
4) I got a small raise.
5) Using my gift card, I bought Heroes, Unbreakable, and X-Men 3.
All-in-all, I'm doin' pretty good.
