Everybody Hates Chris (Rock's Mom)

***Before i start i would like everyone to know THIS IS NOT A RACIST POST***
**All quotes are taken from CNN.com**

Alright, now i know you've all heard of the incident about 2 weeks ago with Chris Rock's mom at the 'Crackle Barrel' where she claims that she was
"racially discriminated against when she was seated but ignored for a half hour at a Cracker Barrel restaurant along the South Carolina coast."
First of all, IT'S A CRACKLE BARREL and if your looking for quick service trust me, you went to the wrong place. It's simple, if you go to a place like Crackle Barrel, Denny's, Bennigins, Smiley's, etc. you can expect to be waiting a good amount of time.
"Ms. Rock is going as far as wanting to sue them for waiting that long now."
Are you serious?!
"Rock, who is from Georgetown, said she and her 21-year-old daughter were the only blacks at the chain's Murrells Inlet restaurant in April. She said when she asked the manager about the delay she was told they could have a free meal."
Alright, that seemed rather nice of the manager to give them a free meal for only waiting 30 minutes right?
"He never called over the waitresses and asked, 'Why did these people sit here for a half hour without service?' " she said. "The only thing he said was we could have a free meal and neither of us wanted to eat."
Did she ever take in account that, oh i don't know, that the restuarant might have been busy?? When restuarants are busy it can take that long (or longer) to even be seated! But oh man, if they don't get a anything in 30 min. they don't want to eat any more. Ridiculous.
The only reason that this case is getting ANY press is because it's Chris Rocks mom and she's upset she didn't get helped in a 'right amount of time' and she brings race into it.
Cracker Barrel spokeswoman Julie Davis said the company doesn't "tolerate any form of discrimination." "It has always been a violation of our policies and procedures and it is neither condoned nor allowed," she said. "We do not allow the type of behavior you are describing," Davis said.
And here comes my favorite part of this entire thing.
The Rev. Al Sharpton will join Rock on Wednesday in South Carolina to announce that Sharpton's Action Network will finance the planned lawsuit.

Alright well that is where the post will end.
I haven't found any more information after october 18th or 19th, and nothing on the outcome of the trial.
This story just makes me mad that she got so upset that she didn' get treated in a right amount of time and she just brings race into it, for no reason.
Comment and tell me your feed back on this. Thanks.
