Endings Are the First Step To New Beginnings
This is the last time I will be posting from this location. In just three hours and forty-five minutes I will be walking out of this building, never to return as an employee again. I will be leaving my monkey identity behind and beginning my new life as a brand new human.

I keep waiting to wake up and find out it was all made up in my sleeping mind. I worry that as I walk out the door at the end of my day, I'm going to be chased down and re-captured. I can't believe that I won't ever have to do the night shift again. I will be able to sleep in the dark hours like all the other homo sapiens. My nocturnal, vampire-ish existence will finally cease. The next time I see these walls, I will be handing in my monkey costume, without any doubt or regret, no longer bound by the chains of duty they keep tied around my neck. It seems too good to be true!
Can this really be happening? This isn't some dream? I'm really finally being re-released into the wild?
