A year in review.

It's been a boring year. This year was spent on "Recovery". To get back what vitality I've lost from my previous years. To regain my confidence. To remind myself to live life my way.

Boring ain't bad. I've been grateful for all the lull and peacefulness - no responsibilities to shoulder, nothing to worry about, nothing to detract me from my studies. I believed that laying low for a while would do myself some good, kinda like an extended holiday within my own world. While I did recover, it's just not right for me though - I'm an action man, I crave adventure, and a life of zen just doesn't cut it. The worse thing is that I've become too comfortable in my shell that I've started to become reclusive, preferring quiet time over everything. That isn't TOO bad, but I think achieving a nice balance would be perfect for me.

It remains to be seen if 2014 will be a better year, afterall I've still got 3 semesters to go. I think it's time to end my hiatus though. Youth is but a fleeting moment that deserves to be seized, when we can still go YOLO without too much guilt. Seriously dreading the Graduation D-Day.

Happy New Year 2014 everyone =)
