1. What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?
Drive in a foreign country!
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I actually have 366 doodles believe it or not, so I did keep my resolutions! As for this year...I kinda sorta set a goal to achieve something each day no matter how small, so there's that.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
She's a colleague, but I work with her often, so Aisyah counts! And it was an epic birth too - placenta previa, 21 bags of blood transfused...if that's not epic I don't know what is.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
5. What countries did you visit?
Taiwan and Australia, two countries that were never in my bucket list.
6. What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016?
Drive.
7. What date from 2016 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
21st August, the day I smudged the line of 'acceptable work behaviour'.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Watching a record amount of anime. TWELVE shows, to be exact.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing to reach out when I could've and should've.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing debilitating (which kinda sucks, actually).
11. What was the best thing you bought?
6-month FFXIV subscription.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
yuncyn for being a supportive rock, AND for actually assembling the best goddamned birthday present ever.
13. Whose behaviour appalled you?
Where to start. The one who was too chicken to relationship? The one who tried to convert me to water-based 'miracles'? The one who let their self-esteem get in the way of being a friend? The ones who insisted there be a farewell party for someone who didn't want it? Or myself for not calling out on the BS when I had the chance?
14. Where did most of your money go?
It should be to travel, but as opposed to other years I really didn't feel like I spent a lot of money.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Comic Fiesta, I guess. First time doing a night photoshoot and all.

Dean Fujioka's 'History Maker'.

Getting swept up in the moment.

Took mum out for lunch, bought a cheongsam for CNY. Then sketched Yuri on Ice fanart.

At home, where I COOKED for MY FRIENDS.

It's an overwhelming urge to pour bleach into someone's petrol tank, but it's not hate, no.

The Watchmaker of Filigree Street. BEST TWIST EVER. I listened to the audiobook AND bought the book when I went to Australia to support it!

I rediscovered the Rebuild of Evangelion soundtracks.

To...play....a lot of FFXIV?

A shot at a doomed relationship. Don't ask me why.

It was the first day of Aidilftri, so my birthday got overshadowed by the occasion. Ate french toast, ate at Rakuzen, and got a ton of lovely birthday messages. /__\
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
That it hadn't ended the way it had.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2016?
Mum Retired, So I Now Have To Shop Alone.

Anime and FFXIV.

Everything to do with JAKIM, which spawned a months-long debate on their effectiveness as a religious body designed to regulate and educate the public on Islamic practices.
