Got my journal Citadel N25 and only now understood that my kids climbed not just on 12"/52 railroad gun with a history which included gun made in Russian Empire, vehicle built in Soviet Union, shipped to Hanko, captured by Finns, returned after the war and saved from going to scrap metal by real life heroes.
The gun was damaged in 1941, so Finns installed a gun from battleship General Alexeev (ex-Volya, ex-Imperator Alexander III), which was taken by Whites from Black Sea to Bizerte, then seized by French, who scrapped it and then gave 8 out of it 12 main guns to Finns (4 were not shipped so were captured by Germans and placed on English Channel Islands).
