Free Stuff to Smooth It All Over?
I am one to see that LJ is attempting to try and smooth things over after the absolute clusterfuck that they caused. But is a freebie really going to be enough? Personally, I foresee A LOT of butt kissing that needs to take place before LJ cleans up the mess they created.
Now does this mean that I'm not going to take advantage of the free stuff while the gettin' is good? Hell no! I'm going to take them for everything that they've got. Sure, I could take the I'm-too-dignified-to-take-your-scraps roads, but I just like free stuff. And after the way that this site's staff acted, I wholly believe that we deserve it. Besides, why shouldn't Paid Members enjoy a little kick back after all of the money we have put into the site and will continue to put into it?
Anyway, go get your free V-Gift if you have a Paid account. At the moment, I am considering my options. I REALLY want the lunchbox, because I dig them so much. However, I don't really dig Frank anymore, because he's a money-grubbing, lying whore. There's also the fact that I've struck up a little thing with Tweak, the InsaneJournal's mascot.
I know that Tweak and I have an open relationship and all, since I allow him to see other people and he I, but I don't think he'd stand for this. You know, what with him and his dislike of goats and all. . .
