(no subject)
well... I'm headed off on vacation on Thursday...
Cashed in some of my frequent flier miles on American (good thing I can also earn miles from Alaska, Best Western, Holiday Inn and mom got me a few miles eating Kellogg's cereal!)
So I paid for a ticket from EAT to SEA... $112 RT Figured it was cheaper than driving for 3 hours and parking for 2.5 weeks...
Then I'm flying SEA to DFW to NRT courtesy of American Airlines... cost me all of $40.00.
Purchased tickets from NRT to HKG for $360 RT and from HKG to MNL for $270. Special program called Visit Asia Pass through Cathay Pacific....
So, I'm visiting a friend in Macau for 3 nights and then we're headed to Hong Kong for 2 nights.. maybe take in HK Disney.
Then I'm headed to Manila for a week.... I *was* going to visit some friends I knew from Tacoma.. they had gone to Shanghai to teach English, but wound up back in Manila (that's where one of them is from), so I planned on visiting with them and doing some sightseeing. Well.. they've been recalled to Shanghai to continue teaching, so they won't be there. They leave 2 days before I get there...
So I'm spending 7 nights there.. hopefully do some sightseeing, etc.
Then it's back to Narita for 2 nights and a late departing flight (7:00 pm) to DFW and SEA... a hotel, then a flight back to EAT.
I might try and do some updates while I'm gone.. but don't hold your breath... lol
