Full contact Norse rune reading
I don't know whether it's part of the tradition or just the individuals who have read me, but with Diana Paxson and Airikir god of mead , it seems like a full contact sport without pads. It may be just what I'm bringing but the energy seems a) very high and b) very primal or more exactly earthy. No, "what is your question", no shilly-shallying just immediate aura dissolving contact.
So this time it was stones instead of round wood and the younger of the futhark's. Stones turned over I scanned them fingers an inch off the table. And some had distinct energy and those I turned over until the pattern was laid. Plenty in the past, need (probably yearning) in the present and immediate future, tyr at the end which is complex, but a kind of successful completion. And in the frank Norse style of reading it was simply (paraphrased) "pay attention, when you see need, plant seeds." Driving home this evening what I needed to do became brilliantly obvious.
