Well, you definitely chose angst and ran with it! I would almost always choose angst over fluff myself- angst good! :-) But there were cute things too- I liked all the many cross-House pairings; in addition to Draco / Hermione (obviously!) the Harry / Pansy and Ginny / Blaise- and I liked pregger Tonks too! On the subject of Ginny though, I didn't quite understand what happened to her- apparently she left headquarters but she didn't go with the raiding party, or at least I didn't see her mentioned during the raid, so where did she go and how was her body returned to HQ? And will Harry and Pansy ever get their baby back? You could totally turn this into a novel-length fic, you have a wealth of ideas and characters, including your OC's Rose, Anna and Crow, to work with. But in any event, it was an enjoyable read and you, along with all other backup writers, are a hero in my book! :-)
