Love as it stands....
So yeah, lots of things going on. Getting ready for faire season, dealing with work issues (it kinda feels nice to say that), and preparing to go to DCA (Disney's California Adventure) today because I have a 2fer ticket that needs to be used by next week. Weeee!
For those that want to know, I have been working two part-time jobs - one for Grommet Collectibles/Fireblood (gotta love swords) in the Moreno Valley Mall, and I am working as a part-time manager for a small tea house as well. Some times they are annoying, but most of the time I love my jobs. I just wish the tea house paid more than just above minimum wage, but being how limited I am with my hands/wrists I guess I should consider myself lucky at all.
Thanks to Uncle Sam and Fate, we got a hefty tax return this year, so all of our bills are caught up right now. That definately feels nice! I even have a little bit left over to indulge in my one true obsession - FABRIC PURCHASING!!!! There is a purple/black silk satin that is calling my name that wants to be made into the next Henri suit...
This is going to be the year of self-discovery. I am bound and determined to find what makes me tick and how to create harmony in all that I do. I have already started applying my resolutions (see previous post) to my life, and surprisingly enough they are working!
I am still in full-time therapy. Rhiannon's death was my last straw, and it's good to have a safe place and someone to talk to that is not my family; that is not a friend who is going to use it against me like certain people did last year. The medications given to me have helped tremendously and I have to wonder why I waited so long to use them. I guess it was my stubborn streak. I am still depressed, and I have bad days, but I am able to deal with it a lot more than I used to!
There was something else I wanted to write here but I have had a serious brain-fart. C'est la vie. I will remember later.
