peace

people have sang
give peace a chance
and bells have rang
for peace to enhance

but some people see
that beautiful sun
think of an enemy
and go get a gun

what they do not understand
is peace is great
was is not grand
and peace must not again come late

for in the next great war
this country will rend
this planet will be tore
and it will all end

there will be no more jive
and no more give
for no one will be alive
and i want to live
