We knew this would happen
But we didn't expect it so abruptly.
Several of or dogs are close in age and size.
One of them, recently has been breathing hard and so we took her to the vet.
Vet's lab work showed Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and we were treating for that. The vet also said tha heavy breathing might be an indicator of heart trouble. We've nearly completed the treatment for the RMSF and have an appointment to get more blood work done on Monday.
However, her heart apparently stopped in the middle of the night last night.
