Heh, I agree with your rant. I'll be extra nerdy for a sec, since I'm taking a behavioral ecology class. Basically, females have more invested when looking for a mate than males do since they are the ones having the kids and generally taking care of them, although that's not always the case. Meanwhile, males are genetically programmed to "sow their oats" all over the place in an effort to increase their chances of having progeny. Hot girls subconsciously seem more healthy or something, so having those types of females have the male's kids will increase the chances that the kid will grow up. Of course, humans have more emotional baggage than animals do, but you can kind of see that we aren't too much different. Whoa, that was the longest comment I ever made. Heh.

I totally agree with you. And that's not just because I'm a 5 foot 10 tall woman with two dry spots on my arms who also plans to be a lawyer/actress/caterer.
