PROM
Yes, many people think it's overrated. Yes, many others think it's waste of money.
Still, I would like to indulge in my 17-year-old female self and enjoy the American icon that is....prom.
I am currently in between prom plans, but shall I share with you my weekend so far? This will be a short summary, as MANY funny things occured and I have not much time to type all of this!
THURSDAY: Where to begin? Well after school, I went home, went to the bank, got my hair done (at first I didn't like it, but then it worked), got my makeup done at teh dykstras, went home. Put on dress, jewelery, shoes, perfume. Waited half an hour for vinnie. Ooo, wait backtrack. Before I put on my dress I got the call from onstage...I really can't believe it, i'm in utter shock, but they gave me Marion Paroo....please don't get mad at me! I'll try to do a good job. LIke, I'm really happy about it, but other people could do as good or better job, so i'm a little nervous. But anyway---Vinnie was late, but he was doing a million things, so whatever. He came, took pics with my mom, dad, vinnie's mom. Vinnie and I drove to erin's, parents followed, we arrived ridiculously late. Took more pics. Millions of people. Went the the Brownstone, couldn't find parking, enjoyed an awesome prom, danced like crazy, looked like a fool while vinnie was attempting to teach me how to swing dance properly. Went bowling. Whatta blast! Lots of people. Saw rob grippa and matt wolfe...random. Went to john's. Lots a fun! Me, Vinster, Alyssa, Erin, Brian, Kevin, Ashley, and of course John. LIsa didn't come :( Hung out for a bit, Erin and Brian went home, ended up not sleeping the whole night. But we watched legally blonde and i got to cuddle with my vee vee. We sat around, watched the morning news, got really bored, so me and vinnie went to King George's diner. We were the only customers. I got eggs. He got french toast. It was 6 AM. Went back to john's. Vinnie beat me in foosball. Twice. I beat him in air hockey. Alyssa begged us to be quiet so she could sleep. Then we all watched the Today show so Vinnie could see the backstreet boys. hahahahahahaha. then he drove me home, i dropped my frame, he gave me his, and he's such a sweetheart, and i love him to pieces.
Ok, so thursday overflowed into friday. But it's hard to separate becuase i literally havent's slept in 28 hours. Going to the diner with vinnie felt like nighttime, but on the way back the z morning zoo was on.
Can i just say I love my friends? Because I do.
Now I have to finish my documentary because Alys and Erin are comign over at 3:45 to go into the city to see RENT! They are rent virgins! But this will be my fourth time. Luv it. Wow I hope i can snag an hour of sleep in there.
