way to go eers!!

So, today was yet another disappointing bowl appearance for the WVU Mountaineers. At least they scored more points than they did last year (against stinky Maryland- even after all these years I have yet to find turtles scary) and, for the most part, they held their own for most of the game. Overall, I was pleased with their performance today. Maybe next year they can come even closer to winning in a bowl game...and still lose! On a happier sports note, I am excited that DUKE is doing as well as they are in basketball, especially because their football team would probably lose to Wesleyan's football team! I guess when your basketball program is as strong as DUKE's basketball program, you don't have to worry about having a good anything else.

On a completely different note, Bob bought Cassandra this little stuffed bear for Christmas. Cassandra liked it a lot...apparently she very much enjoys "soft things" (but that's a different story for a different entry :-P). Anyway, she went home for her Christmas break, so it has just been Pepper and me in the apartment. I have watched a lot of movies because I like movies. However, Pepper seems to have developed a fondness for the stuffed bear that Cassandra got for Christmas (I know you were wondering where the beginning of that story was going). I felt bad because it was her christmas present, and she was so excited about it. So, I went to wal-mart today to spend some Christmas money, and I bought Pepper her own stuffed animal. It took forever for me to find one. I went to the animal toys section, but the cat toys were all too small, and all the dog toys squeaked. I knew that I could not listening to Pepper play with a toy that makes a lot of noise. So in the greeting cards section I found this little stuffed bear that was also very soft. POS (point of story) is that today Pepper got a new toy to play with, and I am happy to report that Cassandra's christmas bear is still in one piece and is waiting for her to return back to Morgantown (as are Pepper and myself!).

Sometimes I wonder if I am putting the "right" things in this livejournal, but then again I'm sure like 2 people read it so I guess it doesn't really matter what I say! :-P I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year and that everyone enjoys 2005! I'm off to play the SIMS because I also bought it at the Wal-Mart today! :-D
