An update!
New Haircut + HUGE JC Penny/Kohls sale = New, more professional looking Katie! :)
I'm feeling really good about things right now. BAnd camp next week, new school year where I will actually know more of hte ins and outs of my job...I'm pumped. I've got some interesting issues to contend with this year which are kind of annoying, but it'll get figured out. I have good kids for my students, and a good job in this rough economy. I am starting to TRULY realize how lucky I am to have this job.
The house is really starting to take shape and I am really loving it. Got a sectional sofa awhile ago, and just got new curtains this weekend. Gotta love Menards sales!!! :) Also, I got some really pretty art to put up from Kohls. Plus, I got so many beautiful wedding presents! I love them all, and they look amazing in the house. Plus, Ben's sister gave us her BRAND NEW kitchen appliances when she moved, so we have a really nice/updated kitchen stove/refrigerator. I'll post pictures soon! there's still a lot more to do, but we're getting it done. Slowly but surely.
Married life is good! It's not much different than engaged life for us, but there's something more...comfortable about it. Ben and I are really enjoying our relationship and life in general. We are starting to think about having a baby...but not for a few more years. We are really excited about it, though.
All in all, life is pretty excellent right now. I wish I had more friends in Coldwater, and that there was at least a Target around, but in general, things are pretty good.
