Wow... it's been over 2 months!
So lots has happened over the last 2 months... and when I say lots I mean A SHITLOAD! I just had a slight procedure done at the doctor today so I'm in some pain and can't fall asleep until my medicine kicks in, so I figured what the hell... I'll update this thing so everyone knows what the hell is going on in my life.
For starters... my cousin Jenny was diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer last month. She has been going to the James Institure in Columbus for chemo and such. Her little girls have stayed with us in Dayton a few times to give Jenny some rest. She is doing fairly well for now. So please continue to keep her in your prayers. My grammie, who has ovarian cancer, is in remission. Thank God! Things seem to be looking up for both Grammie and Jenny, but like I said, please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers, especially those of you who know them.
Catering has been pretty slow up until this week. Figures... I've had to work every day this week, but hey, money is money and I'm in desperate need of it. My boss has been signing me up for tons more bartending events so I'm making extra "beer money" in tips for all those Monday nights at Bim's and Wednesday's at Hammerjax once again since I finally got a new 21 ID and am not black listed from hammerjax anymore. Yeah, that was really cool... NOT!
The last entry I guess was all about how I met this guy named Kyle and us girls hung out with him and his teammates all the time and blah blah blah. Well to update you on that, we started "dating" I guess you could say. I'm not sure what we were considered. But I loved every minute of it. We were just starting to really get to know eachother when he was sent off the Dragons to go train in Sarasota, FL. So I cried for a while... because I'm retarded. And well he's been gone for about 2 months now. We still keep in touch and I miss him more than ever. I haven't touched another guy since he left. =( Which for those of you who know me, is pretty damn amazing. He's playing in Montana now and I'm hoping to go visit him for a few days, but that's all up to him and what he wants/has time for. Mom AND dad agreed to pay for half the plane ticket and hotel... the fact that dad agreed to sending me thousands of miles away to see a guy I like basically means hell froze over. Mom said she was scared to ask him if I could go, but then he was all like Well suuuuure. I'll even pay for half her ticket. Blah blah! Whoa Brucie... you're actually letting your "little girl" grow up... yep, hell def. froze over. So that's about that.
Warped Tour is coming up on Wednesday... I'm crossing my fingers that Mary and I will be going. Since we're 21 now that means alcohol will be involved and who the hell knows what will happen if that's the case. I'll be running around flirting with security guards to get to the tour buses, stalking to band members, taking obscene pictures... the norm. Oh I can't wait!
Anywho, I'm getting sleepy now and the pain meds are starting to kick in, so off to bed for me! Gotta get up tomorrow and bartend. WOOT WOOT!
