Isn't the definition of summer supposed to be 'fun'?
Well, apparently not. I am not having fun. My summer has been mediocre at best. And mediocre summers seem to be becoming an annual trend in my life. Let's take a little look...
Last Summer: 2007
-I spent the majority of my time in the basement on the computer.
-I was having some serious drama with my "friends".
-I gained weight.
-I was seriously behind on my schoolwork, which now seems a small trifle.
This Summer: 2008
-I haven't gone anywhere.
-My schoolwork has taken over my life.
-I suddenly have to repay my parents for everything ( well, namely my dad).
-I barely ever see my friends.
-I'm not happy 98% of the time.
-I hate myself (especially for all the complaining, I apologize).
Well, I think it's a toss-up as to which summer was worse. At least this summer I go outside, and I've actually gotten a tan. I'll just be gald when school starts, at least then I'll have excuses to be antisocial.
