Thinking of posting? mabye a short one

So I think I’m going to start posting regularly.... which means trying to post at least every week.

I'm so far out of touch that I feel like I’m swimming up river, right before a waterfall. I guess this is the easiest way to start to re-establish contact with the daytime world.

It's currently 9:00 AM and I’m almost ready to go to bed. We are home safe and sound from Ohio.

Camping was exactly what I needed to clear my head, and stop the feeling of overwhelming pressure from everything. The family is doing well. I seem to miss Billy more and more of late, but he is thriving out there in Rochester.

It's funny how time passes so quickly. During camping we only had three little kids. They are my cousins Becky’s kids, and they have grown so fast from the last time I saw them. Wynter is now 10 and starting on the Tween side of life. Blake is 8 and starting to make trouble, like all little boys should. And Vinny is 4, laughing and giggling the whole time. It was a nice change of pace to stop being a grown up, and playing Uno-fish with the kids. (Vinny kept calling UNO, Uno-fish, because of a joke I made.) It was a breath of fresh air.

As far as anything else in my life.... I work.....and sleep.

The funny thing is... Work seemed to fall apart while I was on vacation. They fell behind on shelving and our RPL just dropped. I talked with Gail my GM, and terry the sales manager this morning. Both of them commended me for the work that I do and let me know the severe change in the amount of work that gets done when I’m not here. It's nice to know that all the hard work that I put into Overnights is paying off.

We have been working with a three-person crew for a couple of weeks now....and it was starting to wear thin before I took my vacation. But now I’m back in the saddle again and firing left and right. I have tasks and I have deadlines that I’m not sure if I can make but I will work my hardest to get them done.

I think that's all I have for the moment, probably more then any of you really wanted to read. But I thought I would share how things stand right at the moment. The hours are inconvenient, and often leave me really tired on the weekends, but it's well worth the effort.

So until next time,

Stay safe and sane!

David
