Time began to blur a bit as they worked...or at least Remus' eyesight did. By the time Severus told him they could take it from there, the aconite in the air was beginning to become an issue.

At least the worstof the injuries had already been identified. The claw marks continued around to the young man's chest and stomach, but no further bites. The twisted limbs and limp wrist were worrisome, but there was really little Remus could do from there to help. He had a warrior's medical training, battlefield first aid learned as neccessity demanded. Severus and Ginny knew better than he what needed to be done from here.

Dangerous as it may be, Remus' place was at Hogwarts now, seeing to the safety of their students. Minerva needed warning. The grounds needed to be secured. And he wanted to make sure there was no way for Greyback to stumble onto the grounds through the Shack, either.

Most of all, Remus needed to be doing something...but away from the aconite threatening to burn it's way through his nose to his brain and far away from the scents of blood, fear, and pain still making his own inner wolf anxious and restless.

"I'll warn Minerva and make sure the school is secure. Then I'll come back," he promised, stripping off his gloves and reaching out to squeeze Severus' shoulder reassuringly -- "public displays" be damned. Remus was not any more anxious to be separated while Greyback was loose in the area. But, Severus' place was here with Draco and his father. Remus' was at the school for the time being. Except for maybe Hagrid, there was no one else adept enough to track the renegade werewolf.

Nodding at Dean on his way out, Remus slipped out the door cautiously into the night. The cool night air was a balm to abused sinuses and irritated eyes. He leaned momentarily against the closed door at his back and let the breeze sooth the beast inside before checking there was no one else around and apparating to the Hogwarts' gate where he set off on another barefoot run across the grounds to warn the Headmistress of the nearby danger.

Draco whimpered, nearly fading into the warm black. Only the orders to remain with them stayed the journey. I want the pain to stop...please....make it stop.

Then there was liquid. He drank. Not only was his throat sore, but the requests, the orders were panicked, insistent.

Then the pain dulled. But he didn't. He could hear, he wasn't fading, but the pain was.

He smiled, though he wasn't sure that his muscles followed suit. He was safe. They had helped him. He had survived and they had come.

He heard Remus being sent away and began to tense. Don't...send Father away too. Please.

He moaned a bit, "Father...Severus..." he whispered, his voice gravely and weak. He was barely able to say anything, but he wanted to know he wasn't imagining them. He needed to know it was really them. That it wasn't...

His mind flew back in the dark, with the pain. Dark cloaks and masks. Pain. Fear. Laughter. He'd called out for them then too, and sometimes he'd felt the pain lessen then. But it always came back. He needed to escape. He needed to know it was them.

He tried to move, tried to fight his noncompliant muscles. "Help...me..." he whispered, fear creeping into his voice again.

Ginny let out a long breath as she finished treating and closing Draco's abdominal wounds. It was the last of wounds on Draco besides his bruise throat and so Ginny moved away from the table to pull off her blood gloves. With much practice Ginny threw the gloves into her large garbage bin that was label toxic before grabbing her wand and moving closer to Draco’s head. Not getting in the way of Snape or Lucius Ginny muttered a healing spell and touched Draco’s neck and with in seconds the bruising was gone along with much of the damage that had been there.

“He should be alright now,” Ginny finally spoke after silently working on the male who wasn’t much older then herself. “He just needs a lot of rest. I would like him to stay here so I keep watch on how he is doing. It wouldn’t be a very good idea to move him in this state.” Ginny was speaking directly to Lucius as the older blond had all the power on where Draco stayed. Ginny was not a fan of Lucius’ for many different reasons but she was putting that aside. She was being professional not wanting to add bad energy into the air that Draco might pick up on. “The clinic is very secretive and very secure so no one will find out about… Draco unless you tell them.” Ginny hesitated on Draco’s first name having rarely ever said it and it felt weird coming out past her lips.

Lucius simply couldn't stand by and listen to it. Draco was not okay, even if his body had begun to heal. He wouldn't listen to the pleas and stand by helpless, not when he'd been absent so many times that he was needed. He could be here now.

Moving to the side of the table he lifted Draco up into his arms, holding half of his weight and letting the table take the other half. He held Draco against his chest, his fingers cold against his son's flesh.

"I'm here," he murmured, "I'm here and I'm not leaving. I'll help you."

Lucius hadn't held him this way since he was a child, cradled against him and protected by every power he could muster.

"I'm staying with you," he looked over at the Weasley girl as he said this. He wasn't about to leave Draco here alone. He would not be able to sleep knowing that Draco might wake wanting him.

Severus didn't want to leave, either, even though they had now done all they could do for the wounds. Draco was in no immediate danger, he knew that rationally, but he was shaken to his very core and could not bear to leave the room.

"We'll both stay," he replied to Lucius with a nod, grasping one of Draco's hands in his own. At the very least, Ginevra would not have to worry about Clinic security if he remained here with Lucius.

Still, there was the issue of the boy's mother.

Much as he didn't want to leave, Lucius had the greater right to stay.

"Narcissa will be concerned." He reluctantly began to withdraw his hand from Draco's. "One of us should go and bring her here - obviously it ought to be me, since you would not be able to bring her directly back to this location."

Reaching his free hand up to stroke Draco's sweaty, blood-matted hair, he glanced at Ginevra.

"Stay with them until I return with Narcissa?"

It was almost a plea rather than simply a request.

Draco moaned lightly at the movement. Still, in his darkness, he recognized the word stay. They were staying.

He relaxed into the darkness, trying to remember he was safe, trying to remember he was with his father...with Severus.

His body leaned into the touches as he fell deeper into the warm velvet. He didn't want to fight it anymore. He wanted to just...

Draco's form relaxed into unconsciousness and his muscles became dead weight even as his breathing became slow and even.

Ginny hadn't meant she would kick Lucius out now that Draco was stable. She had just wanted Lucius not to move his son. Ginny wanted to keep an eye on Draco until she felt comfortable with him being moved to another location. But the red head knew that might not happen as Lucius or Narcissa might want to move him to a better facility.

Upon hearing Severus’ words and meeting his eyes Ginny nodded, “of course I will stay.” Severus didn’t even have to ask her to do that. Having being shocked by Lucius’ action towards his son, Ginny having always thought of Lucius as a cold and heartless man, the red head planned on cleaning up her lab and making the Malfoy family more comfortable.

“Now go Severus. I will watch over Draco and make sure nothing happens,” Ginny said. It still felt weird to say the youngest Malfoy’s first name but Ginny knew she was going to be using it a lot in the future and would have to get use to it.

Severus' words reached his ears, but didn't manage to connect to his brain. He nodded without meaning, a general agreement at whatever it was that Severus was proposing. He could just have agreed to be bonded to Ginny Weasley for all he knew.

Lucius braced his muscles as Draco slipped into unconsciousness, becoming a heavy weight in his arms.

"Here," he said to the Weasley girl as Draco's breathing softened. He opened his fingers slightly so that she could take the potion vial from them.

"I'll hold him, tilt his chin and pour the potion into his mouth. That way he won't choke," long sessions of trying to get antibiotic potions into a young child had taught him as much.

"Ok," Ginny said taking the potion vial from Lucius' hand as she moved around the table and the two Malfoys to get to a better spot to help Draco drink the potion. Even though Ginny knew the procedure on how to get an unconscious person to drink a potion Ginny didn't say anything as she knew Lucius was in a fragile state at the moment.

With a look of concern and concentration on her face Ginny tilted Draco’s head back once Lucius had a hold on his son and slowly started to pour the potion into the younger blond’s mouth. Soon the potion was all gone; Draco having taking it all, and Ginny wiped away any potion residue on Draco’s bottom lip with her thumb. Moving away from the pair Ginny placed the empty vial on the counter as she looked back at Lucius.

“Would you like some water and cloth to clean Draco up with, Mr. Malfoy, so Mrs. Malfoy doesn’t see him like this?” Ginny asked her voice calm and soothing as she spoke. “I wouldn’t recommend any type of cleaning spells as they might interfere and damage the healing spells placed on his body.”
