'S true, too. The only thing women are prohibited from doing are subs, SEALS, and EOD. Only seen ONE squadron with A female 14 pilot, but I'm sure there are others.
Salary is an open discussion. When you make a certain rank you get paid a certain amount according to a certain number of a years served. Advancement? The only thing your chain can do is dick around with your eval. If you pass the test, you pass the test and make rank. 'S all there is to it. I can't say I was treated with perfect equality, because society expects different things from me than from a male, but damnit, I pulled my own weight when it came to humping cargo.
