Inaugural Modpost
Welcome to dm_score! This is the place to post all of your desperatemusic chat logs, should you care to share them with the rest of us.
Now, in the interests of making this community more organised and easily navigable:
Guidelines
Cut! Generally speaking, it's a good idea to put your logs under an lj-cut. Of course, if you have like, four perfectly crafted lines which are far too good not to share, a cut won't be neccesary, but as most of these are probably going to run to at least a page, cuts are only common courtesy.
Label your posts! In the subject line or in a sentence or two at the beginning, tell us who's involved or what's going on. This allows interested (or uninterested) parties to see at a glance if this is what they're looking for. And hey, speaking of labelling...
Tagging. O, the confusing world of tagging. But in the interests of being able to cross-reference everything ever, I'd appreciate it if you tagged any post you make with the characters and canons involved. So say you had a log of, oh, Maureen and Enjolras plotting revolution, and attempting to describe their plan of action to a Courfeyrac who was understandably distracted by Hamlet, expounding on the pros and cons of regicide.1 That would be tagged with courfeyrac, enjolras, hamlet, hamlet: musical, les miserables, maureen and rent. Savvy?
(Only I can make tags. I'll keep up with them, but if you ever need one that I've missed, just poke me -- comment here, if all else fails -- and I'll set it up.)
