These days, Emily has taken to singing incessantly. It's not really annoying, even though she sounds like a very BAD Ariel impression; it's kind of endearing. I'm hoping that she'll grow to like singing, and perhaps even be good at it. She has already started practicing sports--she claims she's going to be a soccer player when she starts school. But she's really good at baseball, too. Ridiculously good. Also, she's learning French. : ) I'm kind of envious of her, in that respect. She is starting to try new things. I can't say that I've done X since I was Z years old. Or I can't say I've been practicing Y since I was A years old. Hopefully, she'll be able to keep singing, dancing, kicking, swinging, drawing, speaking, learning, reading. Maybe it'll amount to something some day. : )
Also, I've almost finished rebuilding my favourite book collections. I have all of the Harry Potter books in English Hardback except the Philosopher's Stone. And I've got the Hobbit, the Two Towers and Return of the King in paperback.. Just need the Fellowship.
I don't think I'll ever be able to finish my French Harry Potter collection, as I can't think of too many places that actually sell French literature. Soo. Keep an eye out for me.
Now, of course, I own all of the Twilight Saga as well as the Host. Unfortunately, Midnight Sun will never grace my bookshelves.. So sad..
My next collection to own is the Ender's Game series. As well as the Shadow series, I suppose. I haven't actually read any of those past Ender's Game..
Also, I'd like to finish my Jane Austen collection.. I have Pride and Prejudice (of course), Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility, though I think someone has run off with S&S.. Shame..
Any other suggestions for books?
I was supposed to be at work ..41 minutes ago. I should probably ..go.
