ROFLOL! So that's what a real armadillo looks like *tries to keep a straight face and fails**tries to say pecan like a Texan**also fails* I don't think my accent is meant to say it like that naturally. It just isn't working for me!

Armadillos are adorable! *shakes head at the weirdo* =P Yep, that pronuciation is a Texas thing. It's like Puh-cuhn. If that helps you, I will change the pronuciation in the entry.

It's still really hard to say! And armadillos still remind me of Mikey :p

*snorts* Mikey. You're a strange, strange person. Or an obsessive fan. You know, whatever. . .

I would have never thought that our pronunication was difficult to say. I guess that I am so accustomed to it. I'm sure that you probably have some Aussie slang or pronunication that I would not be able to get right away.

*thinks* The only thing I can think of is "g'day" and no one my age says that!

I can say pecan as to seperate syllables, I just can't put them together properly *shrugs*

Oh, well I've got "G'day" down. And why is it that no one your age says this? Are you holding out on the Aussie charm? =D

lol, probably becuase all our fathers say it and we're trying to break the habit. One thing a lot of Aussies who live in the outback say is "how ya going brudda" (trans. How you going brother). But they say it really, really fast. They nicked it off the Aboriginals, who say it all the time (but only in small outback towns mind you, if you said it in the towns you'd get the weirdest looks)

That phrase isn't that different from some of ours here. One in particular would be "How's it going, brotha/brudda/bruddha."

Have you seen my newest entry?! You must, right now. Ewan McGregor is kissing another many (Hayden!). =D

What are you waiting for? Go see that movie! That last scene was total foreplay. Um. . . Maybe that is a person-by-person/slasher/pervy thing.

. . .

In my excitement to share, I lost the ability to spell, "man." =P Heh.

Aurgh, it is a pain trying to remember to put in this journal's name.

Remember some sort of tissue or napkin if you are the emotional sort. Ewan and Hayden are *passed out* hot in this film.

And I'm going to have to keep thinking of Aussie sayings now! I know there's a book around somewhere that is full of Aussie slang along with its definitions. Half the time I don't even realise what I'm saying is Aussie slang :p
