My cordless phone is dying (i've recently replaced the battery, and it worked well for a while, but now sux) SOOO:

Do you have a recommendation for a good cordless phone?

Edit: By cordless telephone, I mean the kind you use at home that plugs into a regular phone line but you can use while wandering around the house, and not a cell phone.

Thanks - although by cordless telephone I meant a regular home phone that was cordless, rather than a cell phone! Ahhh, the changes in technology.

Panasonic is usually good, but never get a refurbished panasonic, becuase thats what I have and it sucks (the battery runs out every 2 days). Also, don't get Audiovox either, they also aren't that good

You know the upstairs phone sucks - I don't remember who made that one. But previously, we'd had that AT&T cordless that went for years without a problem until we dropped it one too many times.
These days, the phone we have downstairs is the one I prefer, and that's another AT&T. Yes, they own everything, but they make good phones.
