Theatre School, Panto and Press

So...Miriam auditioned for Hertfordshire Theatre School last week, and was told straight away that she had got in. So, 3 years in Herts near her school and my new job.

She'll be studying Musical Theatre and will have class from 9-5.30 every day...eek...

Other than that, Miriam has been organising stuff at home, we've been moving out of the flat and I've been working all hours god sends...but it's fun.

Check out some of the pictures...

At work, we had the press launch for our Christmas Pantomime, for which I was made responsible for Sheila Ferguson (Three Degrees etc etc), looking after the radio interviewers and taking photos at the photoshoot too...it was all fun...however, my day went as follows:

I wake up at 6.45am (45 minutes later than my alarm was set for, and have to be on a train at 7.20am)...I decide that I'll skip the shower at home, and jump into the showers at the gym at work before I have to start. I usually have around 30mins to hang out before work starts. So I get to Stevenage, jump into the showers, and as I'm washing my hair, I turn around just in time for the 60 year old female cleaner to see me in all my naked glory... She apologises, and leaves. I then overhear them gossiping and saying things like "You just went in there to get a good look..." Goddammit!

Then during the press launch, I manage to thoroughly embarass myself. Leoni, from Chiltern FM, sits down to interview Sheila, but decides that because of her equipment, she needs to swap seats. There are 3 seats at the table, and she points at the one directly opposite her. Well...being the gentleman that I am, I move the 3rd chair at the table out of the way so that she can get through. However, she clearly meant to sit in the chair that I am chivalrously moving out of the way. She goes to sit down, but of course the chair is about 30 cm further back than it was, and Leoni goes flying across the floor....PERFECT...something like this:

So that was embarassing, but then I did redeem myself by charming her off her feet and making several grovelling apologies.

Then it was time for the photoshoot, and I managed to get the following pics...

Since then not a lot has happened...I'm just looking forward to Monday when I get to design a 10ft x 5ft ad for the side of buses in the area...fame at last!
