finally... friday!

i love when kids see the lights of the ambulance! it's so cute! they get all wide eyed and their mouths just drop open. just ask dryanna. i stopped by jon's last night to grab some of my stuff to stay at base with and kim was there, with whom else.... my baby girl! we took her out to the truck so she could see it. she was into everything. crawling all over the stretcher, trying to climb into the driving area, sitting in the tech seat...... it was so cute. so after she was done exploring, i figured what the hell, no one's gonna know if i put my lights on for a sec. after all, it's not like i was moving or anything, and i didn't use he siren (i figured it my scare the living shiznak out of some of jon's neighbors @ 10pm@ night). so oh well, but it was worth it the second i saw those big beautiful eyes just staring in awe. mad i wish i had had a camera!

on another note ...(well kinda) i've decided that 50hrs of this job a week is enough. well, kinda. see i just got home after working a 10.5hr shift, getting about 1.5hrs of sleep and then working a 14hr shift. i love my job, but even that's pushing it. my partner and i were so tired that we actually over slept a call by 20min! it was all good though (thankfully) cause even walking in 20 min late to the call (from the parking lot mind you) we still had to wait a few for the pt to be ready. thank goodness fro dialysis being unpredictable! other that almost falling asleep @ the wheel a few (very scary) times, it was a good (and long) day.

i will be seeing some of you on sunday, but if not...happy days to you!
