[Review] World Quest & Johnny's Countdown 12-13
After QUITE a while, I finally listen to World Quest Single and watched Johnny's Countdown 12-13. I have some comments about these two, so I'm gonna review it in my personal opinion~
WORLD QUEST~
Artist: NEWS (Johnny's Entertainment)
Song List (LE + RE):
1. World Quest - Wasn't expect it to be addictive actually when first heard.
2. Pokopon Pekorya - Not my type though, but I will say it's cute somehow, very NEWS-ish, I caught the PA PI PU PE PO!
3. Hello - Start of the song, LOVE IT<3 my type of song! I'm really damn happy that Koyama got so many solo part!!!
4. Quntastic! - Weird title haha! Half half my type of song? Won't be addicted to it, but once a while listen to it, it's nice.
5. 36℃ - MY TYPE!!! And... KOYAMA got big solo part with Tegoshi! I can imagine if they sing this during concert, Koyama is so gonna cry!
Overall - I can feel NEWS is really coming back =D No offence, but I prefer they 4, at least, Koyama and Shige get more solos, which is much more balance. Rather than focusing on the 4 of them (Tegomass & RyoPi). I'm really glad they didn't disband~
Johnny's Countdown 2012-2013
Artists: Most of the Johnnys (Arashi, NEWS, HSJ, V6, Tokio, K8, KAT-TUN, Kinki Kids, T&T, and many more...)
Points Taken:
1. Starting with a very Sempai, made the concert feels old, though the song, Midnight Shuffles, is a very traditional song to sing.
2. Many repeated old songs (as usual) but this time feels very boring, no excitement.
3. Good that they have included, Kis My Ft2, Hey Say Jump, NYC, Sexy Zone, ABC-Z. At least, some fresh new songs, though I don't follow the last 3 XP
4. Very sad, Sexy Zone only one member represent the whole group, and why was he wearing xmas costume!
5. NEWS has the most feeling out of every one! Not being bias, but they stood out even more than Yamapi! As if everyone welcoming them back, and don't care Yamapi, as a solo. (no offence, but that's what I felt when I watch)
6. Too little mixed group, due to 3 groups' absence.
7. Arashi, Tokio, Kanjani 8 performed outside the concert, this is VERY SAD! They have lesser performing slot.
8. The song.. erm.. don't know what it calls, where everyone will dance tgt, especially Koichi will be the MUST dancer to be there. Like nothing new also, always him... I think Koichi felt sian also~
9. They used SMAP song, but I still don't know why SMAP don't attend, since they also from JE. But the song they sang, Tegomass!!! =) Tegoshi did a SHORT background, so nice! And Tsubasa's voice is actually very nice! The type I listen one~
10. WHAT WITH THE FOOT TAPPING AT 'TRUTH'???!!! And no offence, Yuma (is it his name?) Dance TRUTH so girly!!! Cannot take it!
11. Why ARASHI only got 1 song!?!?!?! They need to come back to the concert stage!!! Same with Tokio & Kanjani 8
12. Tackey, as usual, damn humor and funny!
13. Kyaa, when NEWS's turn to sing World Quest, it feels like.. the concert was specially delicated to them... to celebrate their comeback! WELCOME BACK NEWS!!!
OK I shall make a 13 points for 2013!
Overall - I think can feel, it's a bit disappointed (pardon with most of the bias groups actually) But still... welcome NEWS! 10th Anniversary (OH YEAH NEVER CELEBRATE THEIR 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY!!)
