Summary: It felt like the world was ending and no one but him had realised.
Note: I fully admit that I have no idea how horrible it must have been for the people trapped and killed during the September 11 attacks. I realise that I probably haven't even come close to how they felt. I don't mean to belittle what they went through; I just don't have personal experience, and, if I did, probably wouldn't want to do anything but forget it. I'm not entirely sure what I was trying to do with this; I just felt like it should be done.
Follows from this.
Because people wanted more. There'll be lighter bits at some later date, this is just what I got inspired to do. *shrugs*
