I just finished watching The Diary of a Mad Black Woman with my mom. I seriously LOVE that movie. Tyler Perry is amazing! He's a good looking black man as well. I felt a little bad after watching it though. Helen does this great monologue when she yells at her husband. If I had known I would have done that for districts. That is... If I were black. Then again, the monologue transcends culture and color, so it's okay. I can't wait until the sequel comes out in February. I also want to see the play Madea Goes to Prison... it might be jail and not prison... something like that... Either way, it's a good movie, with a very good religious message.
It honestly did touch me though. My mom and I were both crying during the end scene at the church. It's such a moving film, and also very funny. I should have watched it when it first came out. Also... The singing voices in the end... Amazing. I got chills.
Because I'm a drama loser.
I want to go read Tyler Perry's plays now. =P
