Since the stepgal blew us off for our usual Thursday dinner to go signup/audition to be a, um, hair model, my lady and I took our revenge by going out to Pasta Plus, an italian restuarant in a strip mall with a cheesy name, but excellent once you get past that. antuvschle and arensb joined us. An enjoyable time was had by all. Though I got the nokey (that's gnocchi for those eye-talians reading this), I had been tempted by the calzones. Later, I saw one come out of the brick oven. It was huge. It must have been THIS BIG!!! I'll have to get that next time. Oh, and I got the calamari appetizer. Calamari is one of those things that are very easy to get wrong and turn into rubber, but are wonderful when done right. These were amazing. I could have been happy with a bucket of them.
