Mother Nature sure knows how to rain on my parade...
Regarding the fires- I'm fine. Not too worried about my place getting hit as everything in my immediate vicinity is still burnt out from last year. But not all is well, my Aunt Linda's place was in that mobile home park that got destroyed. So she has virtually nothing left, and we were supposed to do thanksgiving there. How do you help a loved one who lost virtually everything? Where do I even start? Clothes? It's still kinda surreal.
Anyhow, everyone is safe. Physically, we have all that we need in that they got out in time. But what a way to bring me down from the pink cloud I had from the job. Eesh. I'm seriously done with all this wildfire business, at this point it's just exhausting.
