I finally did it, and committed myself to a trip to New York City. This has been in the planning for more than a year (as I was at one point planning to go last New Year's). But so the plan is that I'll be going to Boston on December 27th, staying with a high school friend, and visiting a bunch of people there, and probably bum around the city as I haven't been there since 10th grade. December 30th, I'll head down to the big apple, see all my New York friends from CMU and MS internships (and hopefully get my high school friend in New Haven to come down as well) and then go home morning of the 3rd. I was in New York back in early 2003, so there's not as many touristy things I need to do. I think I've already been in touch with most of the New Yorkers but I don't have anything actually planned, besides the new year celebration, so if you have any ideas for activities, feel free to suggest!
The other trip coming up is going to the Bay area to visit Jay, Steve, Brian and Phil for Labor day weekend. (Uh... Phil, this might have come as a surprise to you unless Jay told you already, which he should have done). That'll be almost as exciting (I say almost, since there won't be fireworks ;))
