"Baka mo ichi-gei" <--japanese but close enough
Literally: Even a fool has one talent
Meaning: Even a fool may be good at something

or my favorite saying:
"He wo hitte, shiri tsubome"
translation: literally: Breaking wind, closing buttocks
Meaning: There's no point in squeezing your buttocks after you have farted
