How I'm doing/Main Topic: Menu for the Labor Day Party
So, we're on a budget and last year's summer party was a little out of control, AND this year's party we're welcoming people to not only BYOB but to bring a side or dessert... Therefore, this is our contribution:
Hamburgers (burgers, buns, tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese)
Hotdogs (Buns, mustard, ketchup, relish -if we have)
Sides:
Salad
Pinwheels (as requested by BJ)
(BJ's mom is bringing potato salad and I'd bet his sister brings Spaghetti Salad)
Possible desserts:
Peanut Butter cookies
cookies for Jen
Blackberry dessert to use all the rest of the frozen blackberries
Drinks:
I need cokes and a few more teas.

Accomplishment:
I have an emergency fund to survive for 30 days.
Confessions:
To pay for Christmas without charging I'd have to save $232 a month until November... Since I have about $1k in cc debt right now, I think that's doubtful... however, if I can get that down soon, maybe my tax refund will go further this year!
