Neighborhood gossip: Guy across the street's son (according to Mark who will start 4th grade next week) got arrested for selling "dope".
Ways I know I will have an unreasonable cry fest soon:
- On my last patch
- Already cried yesterday while watching sad videos and considering what I'd do if BJ left me.
- Teared up thinking about how much I love my momma
- Teared up just writing about how I teared up about loving my momma
- Teared up when my mom mentioned that one of her morning prayers is that we all have good relationships.
- Just watched four versions of Snow Patrol's You Could be Happy youtube videos.
How I'm doing/Main Topic: To Dos and Momma talk
This weekend was a "do nothing" weekend which really is a misnomer since we did change my oil and wash my car and BJ mowed the lawn and attempted to fix my sprinkler system. Coming off that week into a two parter for the sewing class that involves pairing up with a class member to make four outfits for the runway show due in 3 weeks from 1970s patterns. We're making pants, a kimono inspired dress, a keyhole type dress and another dress... I have done nothing for that. Also, Elodia, Billy and Sofia are coming in early on Friday than expected, I need to get a sprinkler guy out to fix my sprinklers and I need to clean house. Also with the girls night tentatively for tonight it means maybe I should at least take some knitting over to Jenn's house while we visit. Having Mario and Annette over on Saturday so sometime between now and then I need to make a pot of beans, but some chicken, possibly make tortillas (though the last batch was a little iffy) and red chile. At some point this weekend I need to tell Jeff Happy Birthday, remind everyone I'm going to Belen soon if they need me to get or take something.
Bonus points: Get a tree guy lined up, write a resume, and cut out the pants for the pants I need to make next week... oh and finish the shirt from two weeks ago and the screen print.
holy crap... hope being on call doesn't interfere too much.

This morning I had my usual morning talk on the way to work with mom. I left the house early (YEAAAAAAAAAH - got to work at 8:30 - parked anyhow)
Talked about:
briefly about Brian and how we're doing good. Haven't really talked too much about it.
Libby and how she's doing. Talked about their cat that doesn't defend himself from the two dogs they have and how they're having to put it in the shed while their gone because it keeps getting beat up. (Dogs had one end each of the cat in the air the other day. Suggested maybe she get rid of the dogs.)
Talked about Aunty Vick... apparently mom and dad are going with her to Vegas for her 50th.
Talked about the weekend I go home and maybe going to the state fair or having a barbeque... made me wish I was bringing BJ.
Talked about Swing Vote and she told me a bunch of stuff of scenes I didn't recognize... apparently Naomi was in the kissing booth and Jana and Jared Adam's friend was the Mexican in the running commercial holding the chicken (HAHAHHAHAHA). My mom said that dad said that the bar was Becker Street and the river really was the river and that the trailer was a real trailer in town. Shoot... I didn't ask her if the schools were Saint Marys and Central.
Jared and Melissa are back together but mom doesn't think it's going well.
