We talk about your work...

You knew it was coming. It was an Army Weekend. How could there not be a Weekend Update.

Wednesday night: Business class went very well. I was commended for my speech and particularly for my retelling of how my windshield wipers impersonated an officer. *laughs* Cryptic enough? Yeah, that ought to raise a ton of questions... (What do windshield wipers have to do with business?)

Thursday: I hardly remember what happened. I think I finally got one of the files I needed for one of the critical robot simulations only to realize that I also needed to upgrade the program that can read the file. Mostly we spent some time deciding on which Big screen television we were getting for the Lab. We finally decided on a brand new Sharp 45" LCD Flat panel. It looks quite nice. It will be quite colorful and very fun to use for presentations.

Friday: It was my day off and I think Lily was somehow surprised to see me there that morning. Nice panties, hon! *grins wickedly* She was doing laundry! So get your minds out of the gutter. We also managed to get some errands done if I recall correctly and all three of us went to a new restaurant, Coco's, where they were handing out free pie. The pie is very good and safe. We agreed something was weird about the pasta/chicken though. And by weird, I mean probably not thoroughly enough.

Saturday: Army Day - I finished up my Report of Survey and found a Colonel negligent in his duties. Muah ha ha. Total power trip. This unit seriously was not keeping good records AT ALL. The best thing I found was to recommend everybody get retrained on supply and record keeping since they had no clue from their records as to who still had equipment on loan. One person just happened to remember and they weren't even in this unit. So sad. They got the additional recommendation that all outstanding equipment be collected and some folks not in the unit should recount their equipment and then the Colonel could pay for what they didn't find since he decided to sign for all this equipment KNOWING that he had stuff missing. *facepalm*

Sunday: We had a good set-up the previous day so we jumped right into some awesome training - a truck rodeo. I even got to drive one of the HMMVs through the obstacle course! Very exciting. As soon as we get a master driver in our unit, I want to get licensed on every vehicle I possibly can!

Oh yeah... and there has continued to be much watching of Babylon 5 and various anime series. We've moved on to Trigun now. But very soon I shall have all of B5 in my possession and Full Metal Panic! - but wait... there's more! It turns out they are in the process of making a second... season? series? of FMP! and not a goofy spoof of it like Fumoffu. SWEET!!!
