Just took a road trip. I went padded, figuring I could try skipping rest stops and save some time. Nice idea in theory, in practice it didn't work so well.
For some reason I just could not go while I was driving. A few times it felt like I was close, but couldn't actually go. When I stopped for gas the first time though, I immediately went while I was filling up the tank. Guess I'm used to going while standing :)
Stopped off at Hardee's post-gas and got some dinner, and planned on a change after dinner as well. I didn't think it was a good idea to be in a wet diaper for the next few hours. Plus, who knows, I might have actually been able to go on the next leg of the trip.
That was the first time I changed in public. As I'm digging through my backpack to change, another guy comes in and uses the stall next to me. That was just... odd. Thankfully he followed the unwritten Guy's Code of Bathroom Conduct and didn't say anything.
I didn't manage to go while driving on the second leg of the trip either. Instead, I actually stopped at a rest stop and went. I didn't feel like going during the walk to the bathroom and then having to change. It just seemed like a waste. Plus the Abena Wings are good for quickly unfastening to take care of any business, then refastening.
