Challenge Nine
Normally I'd put this challenge up on Saturday but because I'll be quite busy this weekend, I'm posting the challenge early so you can all have two extra days for your entries....
This challenge is going to be to create a new header and default icon for the community!
Challenge Requirements:
Size: Your icon has to fit LJ normal requirements; 100*100 or less, .PNG, .JPG, .GIF, under 40kb, etc. Your banner, on the other hand, can be any size you like.
Text: Since they're going to be our community header and default icon the community name should be on it. Your icon has to say either "DL Challenge" or "Danny/Lindsay Challenge". The same applies to the header, but on the header you can include some other variations on it (e.g. "Danny Messer/Lindsay Monroe Challenge") and you can include other text in addition to the title as ewell (e.g. "An icon challenge community for the couple from CSI:NY"), but it should be clear what the community is for.
Images:You can use any images of Danny, Lindsay, Anna and Carmine that you wish! The only requirement regarding pictures is that no one else is on the header/icon. So, for example, if you want to use the New York Skyline promo photo, that's fine; but you can't have any of the other CSI:NY cast members showing on your entry. It has to be just Danny and Lindsay. If you don't know where to get pictures from I suggest Stolen Glances.
You can submit up to three headers and three icons.
You do not have to create a set. Don't like making headers? Then just submit icons! If you do like making both, and want to submit icons and headers that match that's fine as well, but when it's voting time they'll be voted on seperately and not as a set.
Animations, text and anything graphical are all allowed.
Submit your entries in comment, with both the Image and the URL - all comments are screened.
The deadline for entries is Friday 19th Friday 26th October. Voting will go up early Saturday morning, so make sure you get your entries in by that time.
Also, don't forget to vote in Challenge 8!
