Firstly, having the government dissolve itself is just as likely to cause massive chaos as it is to not cause massive chaos- chaos which would result in the same thing you're suggesting is going to happen without the government being restructured to begin with.
Besides- there are so many unemployed right now who WANT jobs that they'd just step into any job that was suddenly unfilled anyway. What you're really saying here is - "Hey, why don't a bunch of us quit our jobs so that all the people who are currently jobless can fill them. Then we can just have a different group of the population unemployed."
Secondly, I'm still greatly confused as to where this 'component of the population' that's going to 'attempt a violent revolution' is coming from. Yes, there are lots of different people who are greatly distressed with the way things are going in this country- but why are they suddenly going to act now? There are always people who feel that way.
I don't think we need to try and avoid another Revolutionary War because one isn't coming.
Did I miss something? I mean I have been spending an awful lot of time writing this whole thesis thing, but I think my husband would have mentioned something if there was a growing unrest within the country.

Who told you that? And you believe him/her because... Well, then, just ignore me. You're in the group who thinks this idea is nuts or unnecessary. Have a nice day.
