Cooking Experiments!
Been having this craving for good old Peranakan food for some time. Today, I decide to make Satay Ayam Peranakan style. Problem was, I couldn't quite remember the exact quantities of the ingredients that I had to put into the rempah, and so I did the best 'agaration' I could.
Most interestingly, the final product didn't look or taste quite like Satay Ayam, but exactly like Thai Green Curry! Guess I have a good recipe for Thai Green Curry now.... :P
My fingers are stinging as I am typing this now. No matter how much I wash my hands, I can still feel the chilli on my skin. To add on to that, my entire room smells of rempah. Ah well, at least I had a good dinner....
