I am really hoping you found a way to save Sherlock. I've been thinking that he must be the man that John tried to save at the beginning... but now I'm just hoping he's in hiding because Mycroft warned him off and that he'll show up at the end... perhaps holding the last recording.

I can't figure out what film you are comparing this to. It reminds me a bit of the one with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reaves where they left letters for each other in the mailbox? It's been ages since I saw that but it seems similar.

Can't wait to see how you resolve this. Definitely points out that Moriarty was too much for Sherlock alone, that he needed John to be the strong team they are.
