"You're late," she informed him with a smirk on her face, she had already changed into workout-friendly clothes and was waiting for him to get to the Watchtower for their training section.

She turned her chair around so she could face him and her face fell at the expression on his face, "what happened?"

He pushed himself away from the wall and moved over to sit down in a chair across from her, gazing at her intently. "Got caught up at work. Sorry I'm late." He searched her eyes.

Chloe waved her hand and frowned harder at him, "that doesn't answer my question." She told him, even more worried now with the way he was looking at her, like he was... mad at her?"

He wasn't mad. Not exactly anyway. Mostly he was upset because since he'd learned what he had from Lois, he'd been imagining every terrible scenario imaginable that may have caused the situation to begin with. He just wanted answers. "Tell me what happened at the dam." His voice was quiet.

That made her blink a couple of times in confusion as she shook her head, "dam? What dam?"

"With you and Lois," he said, not taking his eyes off her.

All she could do was stare are him for a long moment, a dam? With her and Lois? And then, after a second, she raised her eyebrows, "are you talking about Reeves Dam?"

He gave her a look. "No, Chloe, the Hoover Dam." He sighed. "Yes, Reeves Dam."

"First of all, calm down," she said sternly, "second of all, why are you so worked up about this? What is this even about?"

"Well, considering I just found out that Lois was stabbed and you were apparently almost dead and that somehow Lex was involved--I'd say I'm pretty damn calm," he replied, narrowing his eyes.

"This happened three years ago," she told him, giving him an incredulously look, "if you want answers, I'll be more than happy to give them to you, but you need to cut back on the attitude."

He forced himself to take a deep breath and he sat back in the chair, trying to relax a little. "All right."

She raised her eyebrows and kept her eyes on him for a moment then nodded, "good," she said before leaning back against her own chair, "Lois was breaking into the facility to help someone she knew, a security guard caught her, she fought him, and ended up getting stabbed in the process."

Her jaw tightened as she got to the last part, the memory of her cousin laying on the ground lifelessly was something she never wanted to see again.

He swallowed hard, not particularly wanting to think about Lois getting stabbed and dying, either. His jaw tensed a little involuntarily and he shook his head a little. "And then what happened?" His voice was quiet.

With a deep breath, she watched him for a second, "she called me, and I went to find her, by the time I got there, she looked like she was dead, but luckily, that's when my power decided to manifest itself."

She paused for a second and shifted on her chair, "I healed her, which is why she thought I was almost dead."

He blinked several times. "Your power," he echoed, his expression blank.
